Tierney Dale, originally from Washington, D.C., and now a proud resident of Los Angeles has been planting her seeds in the industry since age 2. In order to keep her away from the darkness inner cities can bring, her parents kept her schedule full of activities. She had dance classes 3 times a week, participated in sports such as track and cheerleading, and made the honor roll each marking period; all before the end of elementary school. She got a taste of what it means to work hard at a young age and that discipline has followed throughout her life. By age 8, her grandmother started to develop her acting chops; entering Tierney into a spoken word contest and making her perform announcements during church services. As a child she remember's thinking “I want to be a lawyer, no a doctor, maybe a dancer...”

Then one day it dawned on her that she could truly be whatever she wanted to, just like her parents always said. She could be an actor, ...and that’s what she decided to do. Tierney loves the idea of being able to become and take over a new identity. "Acting is the type of career that can never get stale especially for an actress. I find myself always making new discoveries about my character up until action is called or the curtain goes up." Dale's celebrity inspirations are Kerry Washington, Zoe Saldana, Raven Simon, Taraji P. Henson, Megan Good, Angelina Jolie, Nia Long and Johnny Depp.

  • I trained at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Arts and received my BFA in Acting. I continue to take classes on a regular basis under the Youth Acting Biz and other local programs. I work hard and I am very professional with a touch of silly. One of my favorite things to do is share my gifts with the world! That, and visit the Farmers Market for fresh California fruit. Yum!

  • My favorite TV show is Pretty Little Liars and my favorite movie that came out this year would be Best Man Holiday. A good movie to me is one that can make you laugh, cry, get upset, then happy again in the given time period; and that’s what Best Man Holiday did for me. I can’t wait to impact someone the way some of my idols have impacted me. As always I look forward to my journey in this industry.
